Darius is an architect based in Durban, South Africa. He has a passion for architectural design and the transformational qualities it brings to communities. He invests deeply into subject matter such as workplace culture, team development and the role of leadership in a fast-paced world.

How I Work

Part spontaneous creativity, part systematic resolution. Darius works through a process of creating as much space as possible between research topics and a ‘design' conclusion to allow random acts of curiosity to do the work and connect the dots, thereby bringing a ‘story to life’.

My Ethos

Solvitur ambulando is a Latin phrase which translates to ‘it is solved by walking’. The phrase holds great value for Darius, due his passion for hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains and its practical application for daily life. It is through exploring the world around us that solutions present themselves.
